Senior Frontend Engineer
About the Role
We believe internal tools should be as polished as customer-facing products. Our matching interface, client dashboard, and operations tools are all React applications that need to be fast, intuitive, and reliable.
You'll work closely with design to implement interfaces that help our team place engineers faster and help clients manage their deployments effortlessly.
What You'll Do
- Build and maintain React applications across our platform
- Implement responsive, accessible, performant interfaces
- Work with design to refine specifications and improve UX
- Write comprehensive tests for UI components
- Optimize frontend performance: bundle size, rendering, caching
- Contribute to our component library and design system
- Review code and provide constructive feedback
- Stay current with frontend ecosystem and evaluate new tools
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of frontend engineering experience
- Expert React and TypeScript skills
- Experience with modern React patterns: hooks, context, suspense
- Strong CSS skills: Tailwind, CSS-in-JS, or CSS modules
- Experience with state management and data fetching (React Query, SWR)
- Understanding of web performance optimization
- Experience with testing: Jest, React Testing Library, Cypress
- Eye for design and attention to UI/UX details
What We Offer
- Base salary: $150,000 - $190,000 depending on experience
