Senior Cloud Security Engineer
About the Role
Join our security team to build and maintain the cloud security infrastructure that protects our platform and client data. You'll work on AWS security architecture, implement zero-trust networking, and build automation that makes security seamless.
We're a small security team with outsized impact. You'll work on challenging problems with modern tools and have real ownership over your domain.
What You'll Do
- Design and implement AWS security architecture and controls
- Build security automation: policy enforcement, compliance checking, remediation
- Manage secrets, encryption, and key management infrastructure
- Implement and maintain zero-trust network architecture
- Create and maintain security monitoring dashboards and alerts
- Support incident response and forensic investigations
- Contribute to SOC 2 evidence collection and audit support
- Document security configurations and runbooks
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of experience in cloud security or DevSecOps
- Deep AWS expertise: IAM, VPC, KMS, CloudTrail, GuardDuty, Security Hub
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code security (Terraform, CloudFormation)
- Strong scripting skills in Python, Go, or similar
- Knowledge of container security and Kubernetes security best practices
- Experience with SIEM platforms and security automation
- Understanding of compliance frameworks (SOC 2, HIPAA, GDPR)
- AWS Security Specialty certification preferred
What We Offer
- Base salary: $170,000 - $220,000 depending on experience
